The power on those groundstrokes from Kanepi is something else. Still able to play a a high level at her age. But nice to see Paula regaining form, she has to take it to the next level this season.
Again, @wta, your highlights should tell the story of the match. Kanepi’s winners didn’t impact the outcome of the match. Sure they’re really nice shots, but Paula won 6-1 7-5 - show more of what she did to win the match.
@Kyle Piscitello They literally have something against Badosa. And they be doing it always even when she was playing her best tennis at the end of 2021 and outclassing everyone... which is weird cause she is very popular and promoting the tour well, so it doesn't make sense... shame
@Ross Lawrence there are more Kanepi highlights than there should be. No saying she shouldn’t be featured, but so much of the second set are her winners, that didn’t impact the overall outcome of the match. What I’m saying is that other types of points can be featured as well. Not just points that end in winners. Paula was able to grind a lot of errors out of Kaia.
It seems incredible to me that 90 percent of the highlights are points from Kanepi, when the one who has won is Paula in 2 sets. She has to carry the weight of the match lol
Это ж надо такое с двумя подряд эстонками Бадосе пришлось играть...их итак только две и такой неаероятный жребий вернее сетка и обеих прошла...ну посмотрим что на австралиан вычудит испанка!))
@All about Pop , me too. Yesterday she beat another of my favorites, in a great duel with a lot of heart from both: Beatriz Haddad Maia. She is already in the semifinals, she has two very complicated matches left, to reach the final, she will face the number 8 best tennis player in the world, the Russian Dasha Kasatkina, who has advanced in the WTA ranking based on great tennis, will be another great tennis duel where we hope Paula was victorious.
I have the information as of Dec 31, 2022, but yes, you are right. Even so, more in my favor, in my thesis that he should become top ten in 2023, he is only one step away from being so, from 11 to 10 and as he is playing now in Adelaide, Australia, passing over Kanepi, 6-1, 7-5, is sure to regain his lost position thanks to his mental decline throughout 2022.

Just love kaia’s play. Such lovely ball striking! To think of all the matches she should have won but lost :(
She could win if she wanted to
Glad to see Badosa wins again 💯 I love how she defends in this match, if she does it more often she’ll be a bigger🔥
The power from Kanepi is insane!
Paula looks to have gotten over her health issues of last year and looks to be in top form. Compliments to both ladies.

it's match highlights, not the Badosa show, they show both players.
Con mi apoyo ganó Paula Badosa con mucha confianza y con mucha personalidad. Vamos Paula hasta el final sigue así ganado hasta el final
Badosa, has regained her game and her confidence.
Great game again!

I really see Kanepi in and around the grand slams and never again.
The trademark of WTA: 🤝
Kaia is like "No Grand Slam? No Thank You"
Паула, супер!!!!
Women always have salty handshake at the end....LOVE IT
Yip, love those

Cool match.
Congrats, Paula! I love you, girl.
Sorry, Kaia, maybe next time.
Someone check if the tennis balls are okay 🤣

My beautiful Paula Badosa, currently WTA # 13, in this 2023, has to return to the top ten of world tennis 🎾😍🔥

@Fidel Estrella I hope she can be again the player she was in 2021

The bf of Badosa. Winning.
PB ❤️
@WTA How disappointing that after adding the round number to titles you now revert back to none. You're really bad at almost everything you know
